I'm supposed to be in a webcast, but the invitation tells everyone to go to conference rooms, and has no information for viewing in remotely. Oh, well, guess I'll have to spend this hour catching up on the late-night shows.

Breakfast fail. I bought two burritos that sounded delicious and ISTG I read the ingredients but when I went to eat one this morning I saw potatoes on the label. First ingredient! Argh. But was starving and couldn't think of anything else to eat so I took a Benadryl and had one and it wasn't even that tasty. I'm gonna leave the other one in the freezer at work for someone else to eat. Benadryl is working, though, so that's good and later there will be pie.
Mmm, Tina Turner.
I stayed up too late reading (accidentally! I didn't realize how long the book was and suddenly it was midnight!) and when I woke up this morning started to make coffee before realizing I used up the last of the coffee yesterday. Boooo! Ended up taking a long walk to the grocery store and also picking up Starbucks. Because argh.
But not to be too much of a Pollyanna -- long walk!!!
That was my first thought! Long walk = getting around!
Lol, well by long I mean three blocks. But yeah. Can limp around, though stamina and flexibility are not there. A bit scared to go back to the docs in two weeks, for fear they'll say "yep, you may never have flexibility and may always limp and not be able to run or dance, but your stamina will get better!"
I feel like they could say that regardless of the probabilities on either side, just because there probably is SOME possibility of it, so maybe just brace yourself for that.
Good to hear you are walking, meara! I hope your recovery continues.
It's self-appraisal day here. I cannot remember any of my accomplishments from the last year. Surely I had some? Ssems like I must have.
Well, you didn't rage quit your job! That's a start!
Yeah, they may say that. But I'm hoping "if we take out some of the metal you're likely to have a better range of motion" would be an answer. Because while my range of motion has improved some, it's still pretty pitiful. Hard to walk down stairs.
It's still pretty early as far as, like ligaments and whatnot recovering, isn't it? Seems to me I've been told they take longer than bones.
Ha, yeah that is an ongoing project! That I'm not telling my boss about. I came up with 6 things, that's probably enough. I guess I'll leave the doc open on my desktop for a while in case I remember something else.
