Theo, were you hanging with Oracne? Did she tell you she texted me on Sunday, thinking I was you?
It is unpleasantly cold on this BART platform.
Manafort might still get a tough sentence, because he has to go before judge Jackson, and she has no patience for all this bullshit.
The Dear Prudence podcast was a lot of fun, and the special guest was Nanita's friend Jasmine Guillory.
I'm feeling extremely proud of me because I baked muffins and also made healthy (salmon and asparagus) dinner tonight. And then I think "but what else did I do with the last ~5 hours??" And I have no idea.
Separate note: I need a new passport photo for my passport renewal, but I'm like "crap this photo has to be good for ten years!! I want to look good! I need to be having a good hair day and shit!" So I've been needing to do this for a few weeks and still haven't.
As someone who takes passport photos, not that your feelings aren't totally valid, but, a lot of people are like this and I am so perplexed by it? Like, who sees your passport photo? Customs officers and airline staff? Who spend all day looking at passports, and if they ever gave a shit about what individual people looked like stopped caring approximately 23 years ago?
Congratulations, Scrappy!
My first passport photo was one of the better photos I've taken. Which was a bummer in that four strangers ever saw it. If only it had been my drivers license or work photo.
That's such a good point, flea! For most people, it's much fewer than see your license. And my license picture is terrible.
Today is one of those days that I'm glad to be in meetings for most of it, because I am a Bear of Very Little Brain today. The only possible problem is a 2pm with the new ultimate boss, where apparently the goal is to show him we are awesome. zzzzzzzzzzzz
I have been procrastinating some stuff all week and need to get it done today, so I am jealous Jesse. Especially because I slept like crap last night and feel gross.
I worked hard all week so today I am working on my next month's worth of menu planning. Looking at recipes is fun for me. Having it layed out in a calendar with the recipes and shopping lists ready to go makes it so easy. It will take me all day today to plan, but then the next 4 weeks I won't have to do any planning. Just see what is on the menu that day. And it keeps us on our diet!
That is way too organized for me, but then I eat about 5 or 6 different meals in all, leavened by the occasional takeout (which is mostly from the same 5 or 6 restaurants). But then you're cooking for several people and I just have to please myself.
There was just an article about people who eat the same thing for lunch every day -- for years on end, sometimes. I kind of identified with it.

Yes, it was Victoria, though she didn't mention texting you. :-) She is an excellent person to go tramping through OSV with, and the grounds were largely deserted, so the interpreters were unusually chatty and unrushed. (If any Buffista visiting wants to go with me, let me know -- it is my Happy Place.)
