Wash: You want a slinky dress? I can buy you a slinky dress. Captain, can I have money for a slinky dress? Jayne: I'll chip in. Zoe: I can hurt you.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Manafort was only sentenced to 47 months today.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, the judge was anti prosecution the whole time. Blah.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, Scrappy!

My week has been a little much with stuff after work, but at least tomorrow's activity is Captain Marvel! And you know how I always say my church is "not that kind of Baptist church"? I think we hit a new level today with whisky at the committee meeting. And I had already had a glass of wine with dinner, so I am pretty relaxed.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm in tech and am between assistants, so I don't get time to see Captain Marvel for a couple of weeks.

I saw a fun license plate yesterday. ANDPEGY

Tomorrow I get to experience an MRI.

Theo, were you hanging with Oracne? Did she tell you she texted me on Sunday, thinking I was you?

It is unpleasantly cold on this BART platform.

Manafort might still get a tough sentence, because he has to go before judge Jackson, and she has no patience for all this bullshit.

The Dear Prudence podcast was a lot of fun, and the special guest was Nanita's friend Jasmine Guillory.

I'm feeling extremely proud of me because I baked muffins and also made healthy (salmon and asparagus) dinner tonight. And then I think "but what else did I do with the last ~5 hours??" And I have no idea.

Separate note: I need a new passport photo for my passport renewal, but I'm like "crap this photo has to be good for ten years!! I want to look good! I need to be having a good hair day and shit!" So I've been needing to do this for a few weeks and still haven't.

information libertarian

As someone who takes passport photos, not that your feelings aren't totally valid, but, a lot of people are like this and I am so perplexed by it? Like, who sees your passport photo? Customs officers and airline staff? Who spend all day looking at passports, and if they ever gave a shit about what individual people looked like stopped caring approximately 23 years ago?

Congratulations, Scrappy!

My first passport photo was one of the better photos I've taken. Which was a bummer in that four strangers ever saw it. If only it had been my drivers license or work photo.

That's such a good point, flea! For most people, it's much fewer than see your license. And my license picture is terrible.
