"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Meanwhile, my wife has decided she will no longer be part of the family and stayed at her office all day.

Good riddance! Bye, Psycho! Go torture somebody else.

Gud - Have you ever called a therapist help line or gone to see a counselor this whole time?

Librarian Warlord

Gud, the Buffistas have been wise here, so I will just nod.

Entirely different note: Blair Braverman is running the Iditarod with some dogs from a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Litter." [link] That makes it easy to know who to root for...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, I'm a fan, now.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Shit, I have no idea when I took my last dose of Sudafed. Except that it wasn't, like, an hour ago.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gud, please call a helpline or go see a counselor. If not for yourself, then for your kids. This has to be hell for them too.

Our wings are not tired

Gud, I really hope you can get some help. Your wife is being abusive.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All the local schools are closed for tomorrow, but I got an email that we're open. Boooo. So I hope it's not actually 10 inches.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

My company decided to have a policy of never closing the office, because everyone has laptops and can work from home if there is inclement weather.

Which I am ambivalent about. On the one hand, there is some credence to that, but OTOH, I was always annoyed when the office was closed and we were expected to work.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As far as I can tell, my office is either open or closed, which I do appreciate. And work from home is pretty accepted, anyway -- one of my team emailed me last night that day care is delayed, so she'll be late, and I was like "Don't come in at all!!! I mean, if you want..."
