This reminds me of a question I have! People who pay other people to clean their house, how often do they come, and what do you do in between?

Chris remind me where you are.
I have to literally invite people to come over so I'll clean. I keep the house picked up a little bit obsessively (clutter makes me really anxious), but actual cleaning I can let slide until I have to elbow dust bunnies out of the way. And I'm still working on how to motivate myself to those deep-cleaning things you should do once or twice a year.
Howwwwwww is today not over yet.
I normally have someone come once a month, to clean, but the past few months since I broke my ankle have someone twice a month. Generally I'd say I "tidy" more than "clean" between times? I mean, I do dishes or take out the trash, and I'll swipe up a spill on the counter, but I don't dust or vacuum or clean the toilet or bath between. Probably I'm filthy but once a month is also probably more than I'd do it otherwise, so... (note that I have neither kids nor pets, so that makes it easier)
San Antonio, why?
We have a cleaner come by every fortnight (today, in fact). They basically do floors and surfaces. My parents used to have a cleaner who did ironing too, which t wistful sounds nice.
In between, I clean the kitchen each night. (Biyi cooks - I'm home too late - so I get the cleaning.) we generally just leave the floors, they can go a fortnight. However, if we do need some vacuuming in between, because we have visitors or there's been a spill or something, then I'll do that. Ryan helps out with that too sometimes.
I hope you get everything shifted ok, Chris. Moving stuff is always a pain, especially under these circumstances.
Now that we are in Brazil we have somebody come once a week (which feels crazy but that's the schedule she requested and it's affordable so...). We had somebody every two weeks in Nashville. Much like meara, we do/did a ton of tidying in between (three kids means every day is a tornado) but sporadic actual cleaning and only when it was obviously gross. We did get a robot vacuum which helps manage the day to day popcorn spills before the cleaners come.
Timelies all!
I'm sorry about Joey, Fred.
We seem to have a fairly even distribution of household tasks here. (Not that we're the tidiest of people, but major stuff gets done.)
