Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My son and DIL are in Las Vegas in the falling snow!

My California-born-and-raised cousin who lives in LV now just saw snow falling for the first time ever!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I learned there were actually Schuyler brothers as well

What? Stupid brothers.

I learned there were actually Schuyler brothers as well years ago, and have not trusted anything ever since.

There was definitely some poetic license taken.

I mean, there's definitely corn grown in Kansas, but wheat is what it's known for. That and dubious conservative politicians.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm also trying to imagine someone singing "I'm as wheaty as Kansas in August." It's not going well.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There were something like six or seven Schuyler kids? Lots of them, at any rate. And Angelica was already married by the time that Eliza met Hamilton.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

And Angelica was already married when she met Hamilton.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Someone once did a more or less scientific test/survey and found that Kansas is actually flatter than a pancake. That pretty much exhausts my knowledge of the state.

Also, sadly, Peter Tork has died (of the Monkees). sigh ....
