No worries, I found it amusing. Though I liked my original understanding of a chocolate cake that is known to be eaten when one is depressed.

Chocolate cake is an excellent thing for depression! Valid interpretation.
Today is the anniversary of the mass killing in Parkland. A few local events are scheduled. Our team won last night's game so another one tonight, and hopefully tomorrow. (eta: just was told they won't be playing tonight, just tomorrow) Then on to state championship series. There will surely be some observance of the anniversary at the game tonight too. It isn't like it isn't on the minds of all our kids, teachers, and parents. All the games this year there were no purses or bags of any kind allowed and everyone including coaches and players are wanded.

I was going to say -- I think that could be any chocolate cake! (Including that one, depending on your diet and pantry...)
Msbelle, no Kafka within 2 hours before bed.
I was very confused until I realized you weren't talking about Apache Kafka.
That's the first time I've heard of that one, Gud.
The sun is out! I'm delighted and enjoying it while it lasts, which I'm sure is not for long.
Sun has set here. Chilling with a glass of wine while DH is at basketball. And watching Stargate SG-1. From the beginning! Why not, I remember as it happens, but it has been long enough that I don't remember any detail.
I did my own personal Valentine's Day special dinner for one! I steamed a couple small lobster tails (in the rice cooker!), and made asparagus and ate both with lemony butter.
DH called feeling all guilty over being at basketball as always so I sent him a picture of my dinner. He said we would do something Saturday after the finals are over, and I reminded him I already have tickets to see California Suite at the local theater that night. And yes, he will be taking me out to dinner first!
Timelies all!
The three of us went out to dinner at a Greek mezze restaurant we like. It went fairly well, considering Mr. S is 3.5 years old.
I had pizza from my favorite place and red wine. The delivery guy said they were super busy, so I feel like I'm part of an anonymous community of some sort.
Tim has class tonight, so I'm still sitting on the couch, debating between chicken nuggets or fish sticks. (Which I will be eating with cauliflower and brussels sprouts.)
I think Team Nugget is winning.
