I had pizza from my favorite place and red wine. The delivery guy said they were super busy, so I feel like I'm part of an anonymous community of some sort.

Tim has class tonight, so I'm still sitting on the couch, debating between chicken nuggets or fish sticks. (Which I will be eating with cauliflower and brussels sprouts.)
I think Team Nugget is winning.
I had delicious dinner out with Maria! It was perfect. I was afraid we were going to be wandering the streets looking for a place to go, but no -- my first choice had our table ready right away!
which I'm sure is not for long.
Definitely over now! And it's supposed to rain hard all day Friday.
My apartment smells funny. But I'm home. And I have two doctors appointments tomorrow, the first at 8:45 am. The only one I could get while still on vacation. To bed soon.
Delicious dinner with Maria sounds great! As does not having to wait at a restaurant. I am realizing I'm leaving on a weekend trip tomorrow and have done zero prep or packing. Oops.
Friday snippet of conversation from mail carrier dude as he delivered my mail, "that's just it, she says she's unhappy too". Probably because you are always on the phone! Maybe he should hook up with my other mail carrier because she is always on her phone too. Of course if it weren't for the phone conversations I wouldn't know my mail had arrived.
So it's Friday. What's going on this weekend? I have basketball regional championship game tonight. Date night tomorrow with dinner and seeing California Suite at the community theater. Sunday is DIL's birthday, but she is going to Vegas with my son on Saturday so I don't know if I will see her before they leave.
I have nails tomorrow and then taking foster Buddy to meet potential adopters and do a house visit with them. Then if I am feeling like I do now, I may crawl into bed and not get out again.
I have a bunch of plans this weekend! But I think not too many. Going to a book event tonight, have a sort of meeting tomorrow afternoon about my church committee, then the aforementioned vegan/gluten-free potluck, Sunday church then brunch with a cousin and her girlfriend who are in town, then the usual band, Monday day off! Giving blood.
Phew!
I will watch The Dragon Prince, The Umbrella Academy if it doesn't suck, and finish Russian Doll. I also need to scan and edit two rolls of film. A friend is in town and booked a karaoke room because she thought I liked karaoke (????!!!) but anyway yummy Korean BBQ. And maybe clean my apartment? In any event as much down time as I can manage.
