this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The nice pharmacy tech at CVS told me they were swamped with work for the past week, and as a consequence, they were about 2 days behind.

Shit, folks, who *can't* identify with falling behind at work? If the dude had told me they were behind when I called, I would have been WAY more understanding. If you don't say anything, I assume that your customer service has gone to shit.

Thus endeth the saga of CVS.

My go-to vegan gluten free dessert would just be some high quality sorbet, but I know you weren't feeling the cold so that is definitely tougher. Rice pudding would be my vote I think.

My much-beloved apple crisp recipe is gluten free and can be vegan really easily -- I make the crumble topping with GF flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. But the butter could be swapped for Earth Balance or probably even coconut oil.

The apple part of the apple crisp is just apples, white sugar, and a little corn starch. Easy peasy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

There was this bright orb in the sky today. Wonder what it was....

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just asked someone on Twitter not to joke about prison rape, so I'm sure that will go over well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, apple crisp is a good idea! That's always delicious. Good things to consider!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

According to my news alerts Lyndon LaRouche won't be among those running for president in 2020. Too soon?

Nope!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I also had a dream that I was stuck i a museum with co-ed bathrooms with no walls between toilets and one bathroom that was actually a combo lunch table and each "stool" was a toilet and people pulled down their drawers and sat and ate and did their business with strangers.

Msbelle, no Kafka within 2 hours before bed.

Oh, that made me LOL.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I had to read and re-read three times in order to understand what the depression in depression chocolate cakes means, and now in GF flour. Yay Thursday!

Sorry, Shir. I should have said Depression, because of course it's about The Great Depression, not just regular depression.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

No worries, I found it amusing. Though I liked my original understanding of a chocolate cake that is known to be eaten when one is depressed.
