I'm way over this snow y'all. And there's more coming (and it's snowing now). Wtf Seattle.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

"Yeah, my Mom is (real name), but she kind of doesn't want me to do bad things so I try to do good things."
Ha! It's true. We don't want our children to do bad things.

Hec, it was really hysterical. She sounded like a bored teenager when she was saying it.
You can trust me, I'm a software developer.
Totally stealing this for my resume and/or next performance review.
The only hitch is that those will be read mostly by software developers.

Who should appreciate?
Why for is it Monday? All the animals are fed and the garbage and recycles are curbside. Zoe gets 3 pill pockets plus the pills she eats without disguise with her food in the morning. Then 2 pill pockets with dinner. She takes I think 14 pills a day now. I had to cut back her food a bit because she was gaining weight from all the pill pockets. Kitties know the old lady gets fed first then it is their turn. They scamper into their room where they get breakfast and then stay secured there so Zoe can have the back doors open to go in and outside as she pleases for a couple hours. We've settled into a routine. Maybe a couple more weeks and I'll test letting the kitties outside. They really like us at this point so I expect they won't bolt. It will be a process I'm sure.
It's true, software developers are the most trusted people. Any poll will tell you that.... once you run the results through the tallying software.
Seriously, slots in the airport?
One last chance to wring change out of departing visitors!
It did make me laugh when I visited in 2001. Of course, I spent a grand total of two quarters on gambling the whole weekend I was in Vegas, and that was just because I was wandering around in the casinos waiting for my hotel room to open.
Work is stupid, I don't want to be here. My coffee tastes like water.
ION, I had a dream that David Bowie was my English teacher and gave me a hug.
IOON, I also had a dream that I was stuck i a museum with co-ed bathrooms with no walls between toilets and one bathroom that was actually a combo lunch table and each "stool" was a toilet and people pulled down their drawers and sat and ate and did their business with strangers. And so I woke up nauseated and still kinda am.
Welcome to my brain.
Sorry work sucks. I'm being pretty unproductive, but not feeling too bad about it. Also, not wanting to live in your brain today. Although the David Bowie hug would be sweet.
Power is out at my house, and at one of my schools. Went out last night, and the power company was all "you guys aren't getting electricity back any time soon" but the department of education went on twitter with "all schools open!" Until like 5 this morning when they figured out that maybe the schools literally without power shouldn't be open (shocking, right?) And the Internet is partly down at my other school, so everything is a mess.
Also, the news coverage (of closed roads and general conditions that's the bread and butter of local news) is practically non-existant because all the news outlets are based on Oahu (as is the department of education). So, we're clearly Not Important.
