I keep trying to share things here and finding them too awkward/complicated to post about.
I'm mostly shaking my tiny fist at the stupid weather. I'm about to go out into the 19-degree weather to the grocery store because ain't no way I'm going out tomorrow, when the high is going to be absolute zero or some shit.
Bonus of working from home: can wear fleece unicorn onesie for warmth and no one mocks you.
I'm sorry, JZ. Regrets like that are so hard to deal with, so stagger around us as much as you need.

I started feeling bad on Friday, stayed home yesterday, and I'm trying to work from home today while doped up on cold meds. And I'm running low on food that's easy to make. But at least I'm not in the Midwest where it's -60?
How bad do you feel? Do you need me to come by after work and drop off a gallon of sports drink? I am now brimming with love and paranoia and the desire to swaddle everyone I know in bubble wrap.

This is my general feeling! Our weather people are apparently trying to piggyback, but our coldest day this week has a high of 18, so what is anyone complaining about??

In hindsight, I probably should have clarified that I am eating and hydrating, and that I'm just an achey mess of congestion. I have cold meds and kleenex and lemon ginger tea.

This was me for about the past 10 days, but the fog lifted this morning and I've been able to make it almost an entire workday without a splitting sinus headache! Being able to breathe AND look at things is the best!

I'm anxiously awaiting this day, after three days of actual in-bed sinus infection. I'm sort of practicing being healthy today (I took a shower! I unloaded the dishwasher!) but it was exhausting.
