I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Yay, Gud!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Go, Gud!

Getting angry about social niceties seems extreme.

Maybe that mail carrier knows a cab driver. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that half of my time in a cab has included a driver on the phone.

I took a cab yesterday and the driver wanted to discuss the mayoral race. It was interesting. I think I passed a test when he said, "Garry McCarthy". My reaction of "Oh, no! Absolutely not" got a hearty chuckle.

My wife is kinda mad about the TPA for the medical benefits so it's not all going smooth. Depends on the one of like 16 different networks is the one for the plans.

I fucking hate our healthcare system. I'm always getting bit by secretly out-of-network shit and it's such a pain for employment.

I mean if I go with the most expensive plan, the difference in pay plus the the difference in cost of benefits will be 13k. That should be happy-making, but instead my wife is angry because of the stupid TPA.

I filed my taxes & am now researching tank vs tankless water heaters (mine is 16 yrs old, so...)

Exciting night.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got a tankless water heater, and it feels slow. Also the water smells, but that's got to be a problem someone should fix. (We were giving it some time if it was just because of new, but now it's been two weeks!)

We looked at tankless when our last water heater failed, but it was just too expensive and the unit we got is pretty efficient (also it barely fits because the insulation really increases the diameter).

Yeah, I need to talk to my neighbors with similar plumbing. The people I know who like it best travel a ton, so it is much more economical for them.

What the salesperson (I assume) told my mother is that the tankless should last long enough to make it cost-effective.
