Woohoo, Gud!
Those commenters are MESSED UP. Saying "good morning" to your co-workers is...part of having a job WHAT THE FUCK. And a very large portion of the commenters are confusing introversion with sociopathy.
I have a (non-morning person) friend who was getting in trouble for a bad attitude at work because when someone would say "Good Morning," she'd snark back with "Not Really," or similar. So I told her my trick - I just say "Morning" most of the time. The other person hears an implied "Good", while (depending on my mood) I snark to myself that I'm just acknowledging that it's that portion of the day that precedes noon. It's not THAT rough to fake the social niceties.
Wisdom- and decision-making-ma, Gud!
I am an extrovert and I HATE the phone almost always. I have cousins and close friends that call their mothers multiple times a day with no specific question or issue. boggles my mind.
Way to go, Gud!!!
w00t! Go Gud! The most awesome Gud!
I knew it! Good luck, Gud.
Yay, Gud!
Go, Gud!
Getting angry about social niceties seems extreme.
Maybe that mail carrier knows a cab driver. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that half of my time in a cab has included a driver on the phone.
I took a cab yesterday and the driver wanted to discuss the mayoral race. It was interesting. I think I passed a test when he said, "Garry McCarthy". My reaction of "Oh, no! Absolutely not" got a hearty chuckle.
My wife is kinda mad about the TPA for the medical benefits so it's not all going smooth. Depends on the one of like 16 different networks is the one for the plans.
