I want an old office cat to take naps on my desk.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I was wondering if you would be open to selling your photos.

Yay!

Today's political crapfest is doing wonders for my productivity. My desire to poke around twitter and news sites is nonexistent.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm just sensing a shift in how the discussion will be framed going forward.

I certainly hope so, and if that's what you were saying, great. I'm just afraid everyone will believe these allegations, like they believed Anita Hill, but this asshole will still be a lifetime Supreme Court member on Monday, and will start stripping rights away from women.

What is even happening?

I like both Senator Booker and Senator Harris, but they both got on my nerves when they chose to use their time to "testify."

That could just be my mood.

Saving their fire for the next round.

What is even happening?

I know, and they were saying things that need to be said.

About an hour ago, I walked the dog. When I came in, I didn't shut the inside door tight, because the knob's been giving us trouble.

A little while later I thought I heard the door move (I'm three rooms away), but I chalked it up to the wind.

A minute later, I heard someone in the house. I yelled at my poor dog, "Go get 'em! Go get 'em!" (And to her credit, she obliged.)

I picked up the cordless phone off my desk, because that was the closest thing handy I could use as a weapon, stood up, and started out of my office.

It was Scott. He got out early today. I burst into tears and got an immediate headache.

I'm thinking maybe it was my mood.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am getting my news from my friends' comments on FB and that is stressful enough (and I am clicking over there too often, dammit)

Maybe I should eat lunch.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, just reading about it on Twitter is making my stomach hurt.

Our wings are not tired.

I can not believe that they made the prosecutor question her and they are going to do their own fawning questioning themselves of him!!! These old men should get oozing boils in every bodily crease.

Also, I thought the prosecutor almost seemed apologetic by the end.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't do work and I can't pay attention to the hearings. I should just leave.
