We went to my brother's over Christmas -- speaking of vegetables -- and they're now eating mostly plant-based. I definitely need to get more vegetables into my diet, and I had 15 tabs of recipes open in my browser when it mysteriously closed. Grrr.
Which is also to say the roasted cauliflower and tahini sounds delicious and like something I could actually make.
Freya is lovely, Gud.

Ugh, I hate that! Sometimes there's a "15 tabs recently closed" option under History, if you're lucky.
Yes! And Dana reminded me to look there! I am so computer dumb sometimes.
I am still on furlough and now I'm in bed with a terrible head cold and no voice at all. Literally none - like, when I try to speak all I get is a squeaky wheeze. So weird.
I was planning to go see Spider-Verse today but I'm not sure I could drag myself out of the house...
Oh no, Consuela! That seems like adding insult to injury.
I got up at noon!
Oh wait, that's now normal for me, what with the going to bed after 2am and reading for at least an hour. But shifting back to my near-nocturnal schedule has done wonders for my productivity.
My sincere sympathies to everyone who had to head into work today.
No bueno, Consuela! Best to baby yourself with at-home entertainments I think.
Faced with another holiday week from school for Matilda and limited means to entertain her I was
thrilled
when she went over to her friend Norah's yesterday, and then did a sleepover.
But even happier today that she only stopped home long enough to grab some of her xmas money to head over to Japantown with Norah to have ramen at their favorite spot.
This is only the second time she's been there with her friends unsupervised, so I'm just getting used to her being a Free Range Chicken in the City.
OTOH, how cool is that she gets to take the bus to Japantown with her friend and they have a favorite Ramen spot?
Very cool, Hec!
Totally unfair, Consuela.
Timelies all!
Back to what passes for normal around here.
I am going to starve to death before my husband finishes with this phone call and we can go get dinner.
