No bueno, Consuela! Best to baby yourself with at-home entertainments I think.
Faced with another holiday week from school for Matilda and limited means to entertain her I was
thrilled
when she went over to her friend Norah's yesterday, and then did a sleepover.
But even happier today that she only stopped home long enough to grab some of her xmas money to head over to Japantown with Norah to have ramen at their favorite spot.
This is only the second time she's been there with her friends unsupervised, so I'm just getting used to her being a Free Range Chicken in the City.
OTOH, how cool is that she gets to take the bus to Japantown with her friend and they have a favorite Ramen spot?
Very cool, Hec!
Totally unfair, Consuela.
Timelies all!
Back to what passes for normal around here.
I am going to starve to death before my husband finishes with this phone call and we can go get dinner.
I sure did have half a cauliflower for dinner with tahini dressing and it was delicious. Now the question is if I do the other half the same way or buffalo. Because I flove buffalo cauliflower.
Here to say even the lurkers are supporting you by buying cauliflower.
I had cauliflower with dinner, too! I would eat roasted cauliflower every night if Tim wouldn't mutiny over the repetition.
I had cauliflower AND broccoli at lunch! And I'm eating kale for dinner. My eating habits were not good while I was staying with my parents, and I don't want to have to buy new pants.
I thought I didn't like cauliflower, but Black Angus has deep-fried ones that taste like orange chicken.
