I spent my day at two open houses, both of which had excellent food (bagels and lox at one, black-eyed peas, fresh waffles and so many other delicious things at the other), so that seems like a good way to start the year.
Actually, one of the delicious things was a dip that is apparently just roasted cauliflower with a little tahini and it was SO DELICIOUS. I think I mostly want to eat cauliflower right now, after that and some frozen tempura cauliflower I had the other day. It's the new broccoli!
And a third thing is getting sold tonight! whoot!
I got the angel tree topper I grew up with and 2 boxes of ornaments from my mother. I may actually decorate the tree tonight.
Laura, if they're functional a local theatre might take them. Incandescent always works best for the stage.
Oh! I'll check with my theaters first.
I did at least have some leftover lechon and congri that my friend made for last nights party, which was good. I'm surprised none of my friends had a New Years brunch! Oh well. It's been a slow chill day. So be it.
Pooh Bear is adorable! Thank you msbelle and Amych!
I haven't been able to get a good picture of Freya yet, but she is adorable.
well, 2nd buyer never showed up. maybe they will come tomorrow after work.
I did get the big tree about half decorated. Just working on my own timetable this year. My high school English teacher did say I was a lot like Mame.
Best picture I have of her so far.

Half-decorated seems plenty good with as much as you have on your plate, msbelle.
