I think the NYE games were a success. There was a lot of "we need to do board games more often" type commentary. And the bubbly went down well. Trader Joes cranberry prosecco is the yum. And now sleep. Happy 2019, y'all!

I stayed up watching Brooklyn Nine Nine and Monk. Then about 5 minutes of the CNN coverage of Times Square. Alas, I still woke up with the sun so I walked the dog around 7 this morning.

This was the first year we let the kids stay up until midnight to watch the ball drop. They were pretty squirrelly towards the end but we made it! Champagne toast for us, egg cream toast for them. We spent the intervening hours watching Willow and Nailed It! Holiday edition.
