We are decidedly doing nothing for the holiday. My BiL is staying with us for a week. He's helping my DH organize the garage in exchange for plane tix out here and lots of time off to hang out. It's lovely to have him here, but none of us are NYE folks, so we're all getting ready for bed. Or, in my case, in bed already.
You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

I think the NYE games were a success. There was a lot of "we need to do board games more often" type commentary. And the bubbly went down well. Trader Joes cranberry prosecco is the yum. And now sleep. Happy 2019, y'all!

Our wings are not tired.
I stayed up watching Brooklyn Nine Nine and Monk. Then about 5 minutes of the CNN coverage of Times Square. Alas, I still woke up with the sun so I walked the dog around 7 this morning.
