Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What is a Cartesian shift?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Come back to me when white men don't get a "pass" for choking a woman of color to unconsciousness in order to masturbate on her. [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think that's naive.

I just don't think that line of attack on women will be credible. You already seen it with Kavanaugh's argument that he believes Dr. Ford was assaulted, but he wasn't the one to do it.

Come back to me when white men don't get a "pass" for choking a woman of color to unconsciousness in order to masturbate on her.

I didn't say we've solved misogyny, racism and sexual violence!

I'm just sensing a shift in how the discussion will be framed going forward.

I do think it has having an effect: [link]

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I suspect a number have seen this, but it's still nice. Although it does make me want a cat nap ....

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I was wondering if you would be open to selling your photos.

Yay!

Today's political crapfest is doing wonders for my productivity. My desire to poke around twitter and news sites is nonexistent.

I certainly hope so, and if that's what you were saying, great. I'm just afraid everyone will believe these allegations, like they believed Anita Hill, but this asshole will still be a lifetime Supreme Court member on Monday, and will start stripping rights away from women.

What is even happening?

I like both Senator Booker and Senator Harris, but they both got on my nerves when they chose to use their time to "testify."

That could just be my mood.

Saving their fire for the next round.
