We went to the mall yesterday where I was nearly trampled on by everyone, ate a quick dinner out, and then I ordered groceries on the way home because we were out of everything. Today I dropped ltc off at school, did a couple of errands, and then went to bed with a headache. We're home now eating muffins and watching A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Today was my annual realization that while I am nocturnal, I also need to use the damn light box this time of year. I feel like I should be exempt from this sort of thing.
Yeah, that doesn't seem right, Atropa. Do lightboxes have a "moonlight" setting?
I went to pick up lunch and happened to walk out of the building with one of my coworkers who was on his way to explain to the facilities manager that the broken back window in his car was not from someone breaking in while it was in our parking lot. In his words, it exploded while he was driving. I checked it out since I was there and there was glass on his back seat, so more of an implosion I'd say, but more importantly OMG THAT IS A THING THAT CAN HAPPEN?
I found something better to do. I got out trash and recycling, cleaned up a bit of the garage, and starting cleaning my bathroom so I can have a plumber come out and fix the bathtub faucet that won't off without plyers.
We've had a bug of some sort rampaging through the office staff - some got off with just a day in bed, most had a few days of feeling awful, one seems to have full-blown flu. This is my first day out since Wednesday ... and I'm not back to 100% yet; I'm just glad it wasn't worse.
plumber scheduled for tomorrow. woohoo - so now the rest of the bathroom is getting cleaned.
Msbelle one of my plans is to figure out a plan for next week when I'm on vacation so I don't feel like I wasted it and also so I enjoy it!
Timelies all!
It's been ..... a day. Started with Mr. S throwing one of his toys overboard, then wailing like mad when he was told we couldn't get it back. We are at sea today. Did manage to find stuff to keep Mr. S amused.
Please to shove the deviled eggs down the intertubes.
I just made my list of things to do before my family arrives at noon on Monday, and it's excessive. Especially since I basically have no time Sunday. But that's the idea of writing it now -- I can get started after work this week!
