I just read that Bobby Brown's 28 year old son, Bobby Brown, Jr. has died. No real info yet. (Link leads to TMZ: [link] )
That poor family.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Teppy, how many days ago was Tim exposed?
The last day they worked together would have been last Wednesday, IIRC. So, 1 week.
Maybe you can convince him to call his doc, tell him when he was exposed, and ask if he should be tested (he should!) and when. Then it's not coming from you.
Oh, but also! He texted me from work tonight "I scheduled a visit with Dad on Friday." [His dad's assisted living facility is still allowing short visits in a specific area away from residents' rooms, and everyone has to wear masks and be 6 feet apart, and you have to schedule the visit in advance.] "But now I'm thinking 'I really should have followed my wife's advice and gotten a Covid test'."
VINDICATION.
I told him "You can re-schedule the visit with your dad for next week, and schedule a Covid test for Friday." And he replied, "I think that's what I'll do." Sheesh, thick-headed husband.
Finally, Tim!
Phew, Steph. Jeez.
Good job coming to your senses, Tim.
I read something last night (that I now can't find) about not getting tested too soon.
The recommendation is to get tested 5-9 days after exposure.
I'm not watching the City or State updates as often now, but I did catch Dr. Arwady yesterday. They are estimating that as many as 1 in 15 Chicagoans could have active Covid. (This is presuming a rate of 10% non-symptomatic and not tested. The other end of the range is 1 in 21). Most of the people I've seen are wearing masks and mostly distancing but there are a lot of people out and about. I go out for groceries every other week and otherwise I'm staying in.
Call back on the mammogram came back ok.
Great news, Cash.
And, yay, Tim for coming around.
We decided to go to curbside pick-up for groceries for the next while. Other than that, we are continuing to isolate as usual. And we have an STPR of about 100. Had been replenishing the normal way -- couple rolls left, buy a big pack -- until this week when I laid in the reserves. I feel not great about it, because it's just contributing to the problem, but I also don't want to run out of TP, and I go through it faster than the average Josephine now.
I tussled with Verizon today (well, yesterday) and was, ultimately, victorious, so I'm proud of that. They do not make it easy, which is, of course, on purpose.
I fell asleep way too early tonight, which is why I'm up at 3:30a having a cup of cocoa and a toasted bagel. Hoping to fall asleep again soonish.
When I left my place to work this morning I found an anti-vax/anti-science flyer on my building's bulletin board. It followed by the realization that while political misinformation worries me, eugenic pseudo science claims make me see red. It took me over an hour to calm down, but I'm still angry.
(Edited to add that I took down the flyer, of course.)
