Fucking god damn it, one of Tim's co-workers tested positive for Covid. Their shifts overlap by about 2 hours, and they do work together, in the same department, though generally 6 feet (or more) apart. Tim always wears a mask at work, but the co-worker does not, MOTHERFUCKER.
I mean, Tim just got a Covid test last weekend (I said "Well, since your Covid test was negative, you know that you didn't give it to [co-worker]."), and he's going to have to get another one. Fucking god damn motherfucking dick-eating BULLSHIT.
My ability to cope snapped this morning even before Tim told me his co-worker tested positive, so you can imagine how much I've declined after hearing that.

All of this sucks but that really sucks.
Tim was like, well, I probably don't need to get tested because we stay pretty far apart. After I stopped internally screaming, I said "Look, you need to get tested if for no other reason than it's your responsibility to your other co-workers, because if you test positive, *you* need to be off work and they need to know about it."
But you know, he also needs to get tested because he's got some high-risk factors and needs to know. And he needs to get tested so that *I* know if I need to get tested.
God damn cocksucking motherfucking BULLSHIT.

When I called my mother to cancel Thanksgiving, we commiserated about how fucking angry we are at people who aren't isolating and wearing masks.
So I found out at work we had some face masks & sweatshirts that had to be pulled at work . They are made by our junior label
They said something like "Dear 2020 F@#K U" and "Back the F@#K up". I get why they were pulled (it's the brand for teens/young adults) but I am really feeling those sentiments right now
Yeah i think even if all the folks I know are trying to keep it small or be careful or whatever, we are still going to have a crazy spike post-thanksgiving. And yet I’m still super depressed that I have zero plans.

I think I may have prevailed on my mother not to put her 87 year old husband in the car and drive 12 hours to Charlottesville to attend a family memorial gathering for her aunt, with other attendees coming from Baltimore, Oklahoma and the UK, and none of them under 55. I mean at least her 93 year old medically fragile uncle already survived Covid? (The aunt died in her sleep, unexpectedly but peacefully, at 88.)
Did I mention my mother is a registered nurse? But not very sensible.

I am not seeing anyone over any Holiday unless Mac does a 180 and decides he want to visit. I am still planning to go to Disney in Jan. It is booked and flights are bought. I doubt I will cancel unless they close, have an outbreak, or offer a fee-free delay. I will alter what I do there and it may mean fewer indoor rides.
