I’m sorry about the kitty, Matt.
I appreciate everyone doing the list wrangling and outreach to let people know about Amyth’s situation.
ND, I definitely have concerns, too. Trump and the GOP have been doing their best to strip mine the US for their donors, and that’s going to make it very hard to come back from both the COVID crisis and the effect of the massive shift of resources to the 1%. With a Republican senate Biden’s team will be really hampered in their response. If we can flip the GA seats, that might help. If they could get the Green New Deal in place, that would help on many fronts, but that’ll never make past McConnell if he’s still speaker.
I messaged DX, I'll let you know when I reach him.
I've been lurking, but lack word for all the ... stuff ... people are going through. It gives me a pang in my heart with all I've been hearing, I just don't know what to say.
I'm just hoping 2021 is better.
I would be more than happy to anchor a Hawaii Buffista enclave, but you should know that moving the cats out here is non-trivial.
Thanks, Debet. My plan is to put Harvey into the arms of anyone who has decision-making power, tell them that he is 22 and that he clearly loves them, and let Harvey work his magic.
I know it is not good, but I am remote working in pjs in my recliner with the tv on today.
I am so thankful for this place and you all and really really regretting that I have not met more of you.
MM, maybe wear the cape next time?
Fuck! That's what I forgot!
The title of a review of a trailer for a new movie caught my eye this morning:
"Wild Mountain Thyme trailer: What in the name of holy bejaysus is this cowpat?"
Which is toned down a little from the actual line in the review itself, "What in the name of holy bejaysus and all the suffering saints is this benighted cowpat?"

Heh.
I watched that trailer and read the article. I'm a little confused, since the "Wild Mountain Thyme" they play is usually associated with Harry Lauder (professional Scotsman). oh well ...
Cindy, I also DMed Strix on Twitter.
On the brighter side, baby panda is teething. And he's crawling, but not yet walking. And growing!
