Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am so sorry, Cash. How unspeakably awful. And it sounds like not going is very much the right decision, but what an absolute gutting mess all the way around.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Jesus, Cashmere, that's awful. I'm so sorry. You're doing the right thing.

Hec, all good wishes for your sister. I hope the chemo is effective and tolerable.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Good lord, so much horribleness for so many. I feel bad for all y'all and sending ~ma or mystic energy or chi or whatever form of non-physical sign of consideration you need.

Um, for a bit of funny news my ankles are swollen and super sore, probably strained but not sprained.

Why, you ask? Failing health? The vagaries of time and an unhealthy lifestyle?

...

I jumped off a roof. Because dumb.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm sorry Cash, that's truly awful.

Matt, how are the kitties doing?

Little Britches passed away while the vet was examining him this afternoon. Cardiac arrest, she said, and she's not sure exactly why it happened. She didn't think Molly or Jackson are at risk of a sudden downturn like that since they've been responding to meds. Jackson's weepy eye seems to have improved considerably with just one application of the eyedrops I got for him this afternoon, and he's kept his appetite throughout. Molly fought like a demon to avoid being put in a carrier this morning, so she's clearly feeling better and more energetic than she was last week.

As the rocky little turd nugget cherry on top of the shit sundae today has been, I found out that the aunt I mentioned is now in the hospital for dehydration. Hopefully her oxygen levels will continue to improve and she just needs some IV fluids to facilitate recovery.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Matt, no!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh Cash, I'm so sorry.

Please no roof jumping in 2020.

Oh my goodness Matt. I really hope the other two are on the mend for real.

Yeah, I forgot that it's 2020. And that I'm old.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nattering

“I’m sorry. Only the owner of the account can make changes.” “OK. Well the owner’s auto pay card was frozen at his death, so good luck with that account.”

Yeah.

Even though I know Askye is A skye and I really in my head say her real name, when I sound it in my head....Ass key

I totally know and pronounce her real world name correctly. But board name gets creative.

We’re supposed to “let her know if we’re not comfortable.” So once again because one of my coworkers won’t follow CDC guidelines

Welcome to my workplace. Where I know they want to move me back upfront but since no one else masks, heck no. And since I complained to my CPT’s boss, the MAJ it’s documented. I’m guessing he will let me stay back here, I already have to interact with clients being sent overseas but at least they mask when I go out to talk to them.

Cass, I feel like your life lately has been full of big fights for things that shouldn't give anyone trouble. There was the move, your voting status, and now this AT&T screwery with the phone. Sheesh.

You are not wrong.

David, I’m so sorry about your sister’s diagnosis.

Damn, Cashmere that it so, so awful.

TCG and I have been married 10 years today!

Wow, I remember your first date! Congratulations!

Happy birthday, Jessica!

My phone still occasionally defaults to ita when I type it’s. Like my phone, I miss her too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Cash, you are in the right, as I am sure you know. Suicide attempts with guns are much more likely to be successful than other methods. So I’m glad that we were never a gun family, otherwise I’d likely be down a sister. I’m so sorry.

MM, WTF?

Cindy, this has already come up once. My coworker’s mom got COVID earlier this summer and I said that I thought we should be following CDC guidelines. Crickets. Basically it was fine for me to miss work if I wasn’t comfortable but desire to actually follow said guidelines. I’m going to email boss and ask her when he was exposed and when her negative test was.
