You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

We've had about six inches of snow here, and it's still coming down. I went for a walk in it. I saw so many happy dogs dragging their people about! There was one giant malamute who looked like all her dreams had come true.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm always glad that someone enjoys the snow, anyway.

I have done some good Christmas shopping today! I still have no ideas for a couple of people.

What is even happening?

This maybe should go in the ita thread, but I just wanted to mention it casually, so I felt more comfortable putting it here (if that makes sense).

Does anyone know, remember ita's general feelings on Jason Momoa?

I ask, because as I watched last night's SNL, today, well, the way he looked/was dressed during his opening monologue, I thought, "OMG, I wonder if ita saw this," before I remembered myself.

I didn't know her off-board as well as many of you, but I just felt Momoa in those pink (leather?) pants, and the entire get-up, would be her beautiful cake.

Edit: I buried my lede. He came out barefoot, too. ijs

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

ita was definitely aboard the Mamoa train.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Haven't gotten any snow yet, but there's supposed to be some coming later in the day.

Tom Scola, you're alterna-Nilly, I tell you what. Thank you.

Looking at him, I felt like if you gave ita a Jason Momoa doll, that's how she'd dress him (when she dressed him).

Timelies, Sheryl.

I vacuumed my basement ( and reassembled the dryer vent when I broke it in the process) and rearranged my dresser drawer contents for winter. Wrapped up another batch of cookies.

I've been missing too many weekend swims lately & I need to fix it. I know some of it is because IT IS DARK & weekends are kinda overwhelmed & I've not been feeling great, none of which does my motivation any good, but I feel better if I just go. Trying not to be to mad at myself for it, because that doesn't help either.

Because books.

Bless, Consuela. And you, Tom! And you, Cindy, for bringing up Jason Momoa.

What is even happening?

Seconded.

And bless you Amy, and sarameg, who vacuumed her basement, rearranged her drawers AND made cookies, too.

Also, when I posted earlier, I did a huge skip (and not so much of a skim). The first page I saw was in late November. msbelle was having a hard time of it, and meara injured her wrist, and Zen missed a doctor's appointment. Bless them, too.

Bless us every one.
