Bless, Consuela. And you, Tom! And you, Cindy, for bringing up Jason Momoa.
Seconded.
And bless you Amy, and sarameg, who vacuumed her basement, rearranged her drawers AND made cookies, too.
Also, when I posted earlier, I did a huge skip (and not so much of a skim). The first page I saw was in late November. msbelle was having a hard time of it, and meara injured her wrist, and Zen missed a doctor's appointment. Bless them, too.

Bless us every one.
Travel gods have been with me this trip. All good on the way up. In Philadelphia at the moment. Wasn't pleased with the distance between gates but when I asked dude for directions he insisted on giving me a ride in his zoom cart. Advantage of old age and sweet smile. About to take off for last leg. I am really glad I made the trip. Treated myself to upgrade to exit row. Stretch out and nap if kiddo behind me sleeps.
Double post! Wish me no more crying baby ~ma.
I shit you not, one of the electric burners on my stovetop starting flaming tonight. My 1960 original to this house stovetop. I'm sure this will be an easy and cheap fix.
wraps msbelle in fireproof bubble wrap I'm sorry you're having such a crappy time of it.
Flaming, msbelle??? Eek!!
Thanks Cindy—I've stopped wearing the wrist brace after a couple weeks, here, but still have twinges of pain if I'm bending or putting weight on it. But much much better now than a couple weeks ago!
Now if only my ankle would heal that quickly. Or my life. Ugh. Slept in this morning, between sleeping meds and a migraine. Didn't manage to shower or leave the house, but did have bizzare dreams about distant acquaintances, and watched GBBO Christmas shows. Awww.
I've replaced burners on my stovetop, msbelle. Wasn't a biggy.
Screaming and crying baby never stopped for 3 hours pretty much. Like would stop for 20 seconds, then resume wailing. Now truly I understand that it was more miserable for the child and parents, but right behind my seat. It was not restful.
Yep a flame. The metal of the burner is clearly damaged, so it wasn't food on the burner. I tried to remove the coil burner last night, but could not.
