Those slippers are adorable. And, yes, the Buffista Hive Mind is a thing of beauty.
I need to get myself a winter coat that fits, LL Bean reminds me. Though I think my last one, the perfect coat, a hundred years ago, is not an option anymore. But I'll check.
I've been online shopping for a North Face parka but they were just too spendy. Lands End has good quality and the current sale is 45% off right now.
Yeah, I actually just found a close to previous one that's 32% off. I'm going to keep looking, but that one's in the cart just in case. Color is weird, but who cares!
ETA: Wait, that was LL Bean. I get LL Bean and Land's End confused. I will check both.
JenP, my parents have been getting rid of their excess shopping bags by filling them with non-perishable goods and donating the whole thing to food pantries. Seems to work out!
I'm eating ice cream. Fuck this day.

I think that's what I'm going to do. Certainly I don't have enough bags to fill to solve the problem that food pantries address, but I have a LOT of them and that would be a freaking awesome way to give them away and help. Thanks, Hivemind.
I actually have OnStar, who scrambled up a helper within the hour they said they would. And I WAS out of gas. I put the hood up anyway, because at least it looked like I was visibly broken down rather than merely blithely parking in the bike lane to obstruct traffic.
Needless to say, I Have Learned A Lesson.
Timelies all!
Am avoiding the news as much as possible.
I learned that lesson once, too, Theo. Fortunately, it is one that one usually only needs to learn once.
