I’ve had a few voter dressed people. Flag shirts or masks. One dude jumped and clicked his heels on the way out. Favorite was a 4 generation family that came together with 3 levels voting. Everyone has been good natured and nice to me.

I have blocked all my usual news and social media sites, baked muffins for breakfast and started on the laundry, emulating the esteemed Dr. Amanda Grayson when contemplating a vote with the potential to upend her life: "No matter what happens, the roses need pruning."
Although Alton's "I want you to go out right now and buy Fritos and cat food" is up there.

I've been super quiet everywhere since last month. Too much noise on social media, and too many people who have lost their humanity. I voted, in person today, and I'm trying not to freak out. I should have taken today and tomorrow off. Instead, I'm in meeting hell both days.
