Ditto, meara, on both points.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi, new board!

I spent Halloween at home. I watched the Great Pumpkin, then Practical Magic, and then the Rocky Horror livestream, which was all nice, I guess.

Thrive to spite them

Well today is an extension of my days off turning into crappy days. My mom and her siblings do zoom meet on Sundays thanks to her brother. And he can be prickly about things toward the end he was talking and paused I thought he was done so I started to say something and then be said sharply something like "can you let me finish" and I said "it was a mistake. I'm sorry" so kind of sharp and he muted his mic and then decided to end the call. Like barely let anyone say goodbye.

Also our internet is out. Again. It was supposed to be back on by now but it's not.

I should probably not do the zoom calls with video on anymore because it's impossible for me to stay still and I'm sure my moving around irritates my uncle.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just got a bunch of Christmas shopping done and shipped, because what else am I going to do, think about reality?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Will re-post this on FB. I know 2020 has sucked balls. Are people wanting to do a gift exchange this year?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I don't want to participate in the gift exchange, but I'm happy to add people to my card list if they're interested.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

I really enjoyed sending and receiving cards last year (Plei's is in a frame on my desk), and would like to do so again.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Cards.

information libertarian

Why don't my children do their homework?

Relatedly, does anyone want a sweet-tempered, tall, turns 18 in August 2021, assistant/guest/nanny/etc. next year? Working on driving. Cooks. Doesn't do homework.
