People in our neighborhood FB group are saying that kids liked the candy chutes so much they plan to use them again next year. I think Tim has already stashed our trashpipe in the attic for next year.
As usual, we have a lot of candy left over, but we bought candy we don't like, so he'll take it to work tomorrow.

We had a grand total of 8 trick-or-treaters last night. Our neighborhood isn't typically one of the big ones for Halloween, but this was an unsurprising record low. My kids got candy from the police candy parade (basically they drove around tossing candy out the windows) and then hit the good trick-or-treat neighborhood and made out like bandits because everyone was handing out handfuls to make up for the low turnout.

Also, I had dreams about voting. I am voting in person on Election Day because I failed at the mail in option, and the early voting centers are not accessible for people using public transportation. I dreamt I HAD to produce my driver’s license in order to vote, but I hadn’t worn my coat and it was in my coat pocket. My grandma (who passed away 20 years ago was there and pointed out I was wearing my jacket, but only after I successfully argued the woman into accepting my debit card as proof of identity. Then we had to get suited up in gowns and masks in order to vote.
