"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

(unless she ends up in Biden's Cabinet).

Warren can't go to the Cabinet because Massachusetts has a Republican Governor, and he could replace her with a Republican Senator.

Thrive to spite them

M's mom came to me asked if I could find out where early voting was locally and if I was planning on it. So we are going to go tomorrow and drag M with us. I don't know how his Mom will vote, I know at one point she wasn't going to vote for Trump (she voted for him last election) but then said she was going to write in M's name. I'm not going to ask her. I think she is goin got vote for Harrison.

I know McConnell will probably win. I figure the only way to get him out of power without him dying is for the Senate to flip.

But I think that the GOP will do everything they can , every underhanded legal trick, using all the judges they have in place to try and take the election if it doesn't go their way.

What is even happening?

Warren can't go to the Cabinet because Massachusetts has a Republican Governor, and he could replace her with a Republican Senator.

The state legislature would just change the law again. They have no shame, and for this I'm grateful.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The GOP has done exactly zilch for the common man, woman and child for the last four decades. I want the party to fall, fail, die, and cease to be. I'm not all Dems all the time, in fact I'd love for there to be a classic, realistic old-style Republican party that believes in service, but in a more conservative and considered way, to balance the Dems. I just don't want it to be tainted with the Republican title anymore.

Pipe dreams, I know.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope the cheese agrees with you, msbelle.

ITA, Beverly. I think of so many sane Republicans I knew in my youth. They are surely rolling over in their graves at what has become of their party. We disagreed on how things should be accomplished, but they weren't without souls.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The cheese took! I had more cheese (1 slice) on a sandwich for dinner. I also used a wee bit of olive salad on said sandwich AND things seem to be holding.

I am still headed to bed though. A full day of work, albeit slowly, has done tuckered me out.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay cheese! Yeah, a full day of work after a bout of food poisoning is plenty to wear a person out.

Olive salad? Wow.

I made butter chicken from scratch and it's good but way too filling and now I have a LOT of it. Also I made rice very badly. Should've paid more attention but was busy with the chicken!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Leftovers of butter chicken should freeze well.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Or you could just send it to me. I have homemade English muffins I'm willing to trade.
