The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Heh. But of course. Family tradition.

Sorry I'm late with this, it turned out I had to run out immediately after lunch if I wanted to make it to Memphis in time to see a movie. Here's my cyclops jack-o'-lantern:

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Great news for Melbourne today: we reported zero new COVID cases, for the first time in 139 days - this despite a testing blitz around a possible outbreak in the northern suburbs. At its peak we were seeing over 700 new cases a day. It's been months of severe restrictions, but it's finally been brought under control. Nonessential businesses can reopen after months of shutdown. For the last 112 days we've only been permitted to leave home for specific reasons; from tomorrow that's lifted. (I'll still be working from home for the time being.) We're crossing our fingers that tomorrow we'll hear Ryan can go visit the neighbour's boy again. (It may be another month or so before we can start up the D&D game again though.)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay, Melbourne! Nice to hear good covid news from somewhere.

I love that, Matt - so cool!

Oh, my gosh, bt, that is wonderful news. Way to go, Melbourne.

If I forgot to say, thanks for the baked oatmeal link, auralia.

Punishingly Intricate

That is great news from Melbourne! I feel like that may never happen here.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

The weather-guessers were right this time. Got a little snow last night. My pepper plant looks a little Christmas-y. [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Well done, aurelia!

Awesome news from Melbourne. I'm less hopeful for us.

Super cool, Matt!

dcp, that really does look like a itty bitty Christmas tree.
