Yay! And I'm glad Tim is still seeing the pulmonologist, if another episode like this can be avoided that would be great

I'm glad Tim's lungs are looking better, Steph.
I just got back from the Eno Riverwalk—a series of paved and well-groomed trails along a river in a nearby town. It's a lovely day for it, and almost everyone I passed was wearing a mask.
Yay Tim! Phew. Also glad your DP is OK, Jen.
Yay, Tim!
Timelies all!
Yay Tim!
I'm glad you and Tim got good news, Teppy.
JenP, I'm glad DP is home. Tell him not to do that again.
Good news, Steph, and good for follow-up visit anyway.
We are getting Mexican take-in tonight, including Margarita Kit for Two, to celebrate week two of DP's new job. Er, we don't celebrate it every week... this just happens to be the two-week mark, so, yay.
ETA: Thanks for good DP wishes.
Hey celebrate whenever you want, girl.
I dropped puppy off at the groomer and went grocery shopping and basically bought everything bad for me. All I want. Feeling very down today for no particular reason. Just exhausted and achy and sad.
I need to spend the weekend doing a job application and I just. don't. want. to. BAH.
Quick 5-minute rolled oats recipe. While water is on the boil for tea: water in saucepan set to boil. Add dash of salt, broken walnut pieces, dried cranberries, cinnamon, and brown sugar (to taste) stir in oats. Make tea, simmer oats, stirring occasionally, five minutes, or more if you like them softer. Spoon into bowls, add a scrape of actual unsalted butter, top with a splash of almond milk or half & half. Serve.
Caution: it's very lumpy and textured, but we like it that way.
Yay for Tim and Jen's DP! And also Laura's DH getting on the health wagon!
I am an advocate for breakfast pie. Also? fried fruit-filled hand pies, crust sprinkled with whatever spices go with the fruit. Apple=cinnamon, peach=ginger, cherry=a little anise and cardamom, etc.
I dislike cornmeal, in general. But we do the trad buckwheat pancakes and they're quite tasty. Mmm, breakfast.
Good luck with the job app, Consuela.
