My breakfast, btw, is leftover black-eyed peas and rice and it is yum.
My company has just said that they are giving us (who work the outlet sale) an extra hour of PTO for every 4 hours working the sale. That's nice of them, I didn't expect anything. I guess they are not getting as many volunteers as they hoped for.
I imagine that adding pumpkin pie spice would help get a non-oatmeal fan less reluctant.
I used to do this AND stir in a tablespoon or so of actual canned pumpkin. The pumpkin added creaminess, it was nice.
I'm back to school, so I'm skimming very much. Apologies.
Then you might have missed esse thanking you for your card. So it was received, Shir.
Gris I was just thinking I'd rather have pumpkin than pumpkin spice, in my oatmeal! Now I just want pie for breakfast though.
Straight up pie for breakfast is hard to beat
pie at any time is pretty good ....
skipping like 100 messages to offer these words of wisdom:
When life gives you meth, DO NOT INGEST IT. Tie it up in several plastic bags and then deposit it in the trash. Do not burn it. Do not flush it down the toilet. But above all else, do not ingest it. Signed, lives in a neighborhood full of very sad people whose lives and bodies have been destroyed by meth.
Unrelatedly: baked oatmeal is AMAZING. Yes, it takes longer, but the texture is divine and it's halfway between an oatmeal cookie and a very dense cake. Nom nom.
Caught up. I also struggled over our mayoral race. Ended up writing in a candidate for the first time in my life. This might just actually be a race decided by write-ins which is just fascinating. Dropping off my ballot later today.
I came across a link to this. I love Rhiannon Giddons and this hit a sweet spot for me. I've mentioned to a few people in real life that, in 1941, my father enlisted to fight fascists so I don't see why being against them is now a bad thing.
