Exactly. Someone did a fancified green bean casserole at Thanksgiving one year. Ha, ha, ha... no. There was 100% concurrence on that one.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am rebelling a little bit by not saying "please let me know if you have any questions". I don't want to know! I don't have answers!

That is definitely the move.

Our wings are not tired.

It is casserole night at the Holts tonight. This one is a quinoa/chicken/broccoli with enchiladas sauce variety. DH can add cheese if he wants but it is off my list.

Yep, she's a rebel. Go -t!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's been one of those days. The nanny/aide had a doctor's appointment this morning, so we had to handle Zoom school on our own. Started out fine, but by the reading class Mr. S was behaving badly. I didn't handle it very well.(It probably didn't help that the first dose of Adderall was starting to wear off by then.)

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

I don't know about Austin, but here in San Antonio the city keeps up a series of pop-up locations for testing. No charge or appointment, just first come, first serve.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Heh. Just got an email saying don't send that letter yet it didn't save correctly. Oh well. But I hope that means the actual letter will make more sense...

Thrive to spite them

Today is a freaking shitshow of a day because I am cursed when it comes to getting technology to work. I decided to get a new phone with spectrum and I came home to get the wifi password and the wifi stopped working. And anyway long story short I'm now on the phone with spectrum to see if there is an internet issue.

And I was going to make dinner but M's mom started something because it was "getting so late and nothing was started" . That was at 4:15. I don't know why I can't remember they eat so freaking early. But they will eat breakfast and then nibble on things and then eat early dinner and then snack when I get home.

I still have to order groceries and I don't know why but I have to make the list and do the order even though I don't do most of the cooking. I buy the groceries (M pays the utilities).

So my day off has been as frustrating as if I was at work. M is currently is currently napping because even though I'm cursed with electronics im still better at dealing with this.

I wanted a lazy day. Maybe Saturday. I feel like this all started when I turned the router over and I only did that instead of asking where we wrote the password down because I didn't want to hear M bitching to whoever he was playing COD with about how he was being pestered

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

We dropped our ballots off at least three weeks ago, and Matt is tracking them. They've at least been accepted; I don't know if there's anything beyond that.

Accepted should be good. Anything beyond that gets into counting and I don't think any state starts counting votes before election day.

I pre-ordered from the Happy Lobster food truck for dinner tonight! I do miss food-truck Fridays downtown.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I found out that something like 22% of eligible voters in Somerville have already voted, either by 'early' or mail-in. ::waves tiny pompoms::

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I feel like today should be Friday. Can we get on that?
