Our wings are not tired.

I had a burger and sweet potato fries for dinner! (and IWFG)

Also I am so sad to report that once again my test of denying myself dairy for a couple days has eliminated my persistent cough. Bodies often suck. I seem to not be able to consume any dairy or fried foods anymore. Sob.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

That's a huge change, David. Interesting to break that mountainclimb trend and see where things go from here.

JenP, so glad you're on the planet. That's a lot, as several have said, and I'm glad you get "Wow, the world!" now. And we get you!

Laura, goodness--that is also a lot. I hope everybody gets to where they're going--physically and on their life journey--safely.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Laura, there's a world of dairy-free yogurt and ice cream and even cheese, so do not despair.

Mmmm.... I would also like a burger and fries.

Well, shoot. I saw this too late.

Thanks, Beverly!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Mmmm.... I would also like a burger and fries.

Same. The yummy burger place in my neighborhood has a bunch of sides, including mashed potatoes and potato salad, but no fries. How, I ask you, does a burger place have no fries??? The burgers are certainly worth the frylessness, but whenever we order carryout from them, we also put in an order for fries at the pizza place just down the block. When we eat in (or used to eat in), we just get mashed taters as a side.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The yummy burger place in my neighborhood has a bunch of sides, including mashed potatoes and potato salad, but no fries. How, I ask you, does a burger place have no fries???

That must be a real position on the part of the owner/chef. I mean, that is really norm-busting!

I am about due for a haircut and that will bring me to my favorite burger place (where I get onion rings instead of fries), so I will hold out until then.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I also get onion rings at my burger joint of choice, but that's because they have the world's best rings -- they HAVE fries. (year-round, even)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

JenP, good heavens, that's... yeah, that's a lot. I'm glad you have the world and the world has you.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had McDs today (not a burger) which is not my favorite place for anything, but I was HANGRY and wanted salty.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I also had McD's today because it was easy. Burger no fries.

The burgers are certainly worth the frylessness, but whenever we order carryout from them, we also put in an order for fries at the pizza place just down the block.

That might be the most mind-blowing thing I've read about your neighborhood
