I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Work~ma, askye. Health~ma for your uncle and those around him, meara.

Man, I woke up at 2 am with disturbing dreams about serial killers. Not oddly hot Norse men either. Just schluby midwestern dudes who (spoiler font for disturbing content) liked to keep women in their attics and eat them. I was awake the rest of the night. Good thing I don't have to do much today except clean the apartment.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Definitely disturbing. The only odd detail I recall from my dreams last night is finding a lost novel by Mark Twain, about the English Civil War. Um?

Our wings are not tired.

Work~ma, askye. Also, what David said.

I'm sorry, meara. This disease is so devastating.

Our aunt who has been home recovering for months just broke her ankle in 3 places and just got back from surgery. That likely ends her hopes for ever working again, not that she should have been considering it anyway, but nurses are often dedicated fools.

My stay in Otter Lake is rapidly coming to an end. Son is settled into his apartment. No hope that I will have any relaxation time though. My last few days will be spent cleaning, organizing, packing, and closing up the place for winter. Grateful I had the 2 days in Maine. I should have relaxation time when I get back to Florida since I will be far more isolated there than I am currently in the mountains since I won't leave my house!

I hope things settle well for you in the new role, askye.

I'm sorry about your uncle, meara.

Late getting up this morning. Awaiting my coffee.

I understood that reference!

But yeah, those nightmares sound not good.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My baby has her first loose tooth! I'm not ready for this!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

sj, Mr. S already lost two baby teeth. Seemed a bit early, but things happen when they happen.

We went to the Zoo today. Went pretty well, until Mr. S had a meltdown in the parking lot on our way back to the car. Two hours of walking up and down the zoo paths + needing his next dose of medicine= unhappy boy.
