You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

I started to watch but then felt woozy during Harris' first answer and took a two-hour nap.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I had planned to continue writing postcards to voters during the debate but I tweeted and yelled at the tv instead.

yes ankles, I think this community has learned, are slow to heal and easy to hurt.

Indeed. I've haven't kept up with exercising mine since March but I'm doing better than I ever could have imagined two years ago. I walked a bundle of postcards to the post office today and noted that the slanted parts of the sidewalk that used to really give me trouble were no problem.

I sent in an application to be an election judge a while ago and finally got a response today. It seems they've been overwhelmed with applications and don't have a place for me at this time. This is a level of engagement that I've never seen in this country.

I thought that Kamala did well in the debate, but I am disappointed because I wanted her to eviscerate him. I am annoyed that the moderator continued to let Pence talk significantly longer than his time, and kept letting him go back to questions after they were supposed to move on. She was a terrible moderator.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sounds like I was better off watching the animated Avatar series.

Thrive to spite them

I found a really good youtube fitness channel that has a lot of physical therapy type routines a long with regular work outs called HAS Fit.

I got M to try the one for lower back pain with me and then I did the one for hips...my hips get super sore after standing all day. And it was easy to follow and it felt really nice. They have a routine for plantar fasciitis I'm going to try .. maybe tonight.

So if anyone needs some physio type exercises or wants to try something different than what they gave been doing. I'd recommend them.

I've done of their chair based cardio exercises when my feet were really hurting me (didn't see their plantar fasciitis ones or I would have tried that) and I could follow them and felt a work out and liked the instructors.

I also wanted to see Harris tear Pence to shreds but I know if she did she would have been completely vilified by a lot of people. I already saw reactions that she was too aggressive/mean whatever form several assholes.

I wish they would get moderators for these debates who weren't afraid to moderate correctly.

Our wings are not tired.

Trump has refused to do the next debate because they changed it to virtual. I'm grateful that I don't have to endure another one. It wouldn't be so unwatchable if they had competent moderation, and shock collars.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw a comment that the fly spent more time on Pence's head than he spent on the pandemic.

I've been seeing polls that men are about evenly divided on the debate, but women overwhelmingly sided with Harris.

Gee, who could have predicted that women across the country might find common ground with a female candidate being frustrated with a man interrupting, speaking over, and condescending to her when she's trying to explain her views? Certainly not Pence or whoever helped him come up with his debate strategy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My great aunt Carmella passed away this week. She was 92, and it isn't a big shock but she was kind and wonderful and will be missed. Of course no one on my father's side of the family thought to inform me. Mom called after she read it in the paper. She was an Italian who married into the Irish side of my family and I loved going to her house as a kid not just because she was so warm and welcoming but because I knew there would be food I would like.
