I've been tested for COVID a couple of times and have been negative.

Probably some less exciting problem, like a UTI that isn't doing anything but giving you a fever? Probably worth seeing Urgent Care about, in case it's something more serious.
Speaking of less-than-exciting physical problems, my ankle is some better, but still swollen and painy on going down stairs. The next time someone in a book or movie sprains their ankle and is all better the next day/scene, I'm going to look Very Askance at them.
Note to self: just because you CAN work through the pain doesn't mean it's a good idea to do it. Pain is one of those signals that you should pay attention to.
I meant to ask how your ankle was doing, Theo. Sprains do seem to take forever to heal.
Sorry the fever is back, Gud. That must be frustrating.
Sprained ankles are such a pain.
I'm not a fan of fevers either. Could you maybe do a teledoc visit, Gud? I don't like that it's recurred on you. Glad about the negative tests, though.
yes ankles, I think this community has learned, are slow to heal and easy to hurt.
I am starting to shift my drink-making and drinking to fall. I had my last Rose over a week ago. I have been drinking spiked peach and/or mango iced tea all summer - so yummy. Last weekend I bought cranberry vodka to start having that with my tea in the fall - I need to buy some unsweetened cranberry juice also. Then I also bought caramel vodka that I thought I would have with hot tea and decaf coffee at night mmmmmm.
That all sounds delicious!
I suppose I should be proud I've gone nearly 62 years without spraining an ankle.
(It's possible that I sprained something when I was very young, but I sure don't remember it, and you'd think my mother would have brought up "the time you sprained your ankle" had it ever happened.)
The owner of the home I was supposed to go see today accepted an offer this morning and canceled the showing at the last minute. So, I decided to go donate blood—the first time I've been able to, thanks to the Red Cross' decreasing wait period and my increasing intervals between sex.

I feel like an old lady when I walk super carefully on bad surfaces, but once you have hurt an ankle you don't want to do it again.
Off to my sister's house to watch the debate. I bought a big bag of cheese curls and she has wine. I just know Pence is going to be condescending and annoying. But I'll watch because it is what I do.
Awesome you donated Matt, even if the reason you're able to is sad!
