Found a silver lining to celibate state: every few months someone in the dna unit (where I work) will need a variety of body swabs for validation or training purposes. And I can reliably contribute semen free vaginal samples. (Usually the specific need are semen fee vaginal swabs, and semen samples. I can't help with the second, but there are plenty of semen-producers working here. Also, that kind of bizarre discussion is one of the reasons I love working here. We are so very clinical about our bodies that it de-stigmatizes lots of topics that would be totally Unacceptable at most workplaces. Except, uh, all my previous workplaces. Or maybe I just don't give enough fucks about filters?

Even if we take as given that Donald Trump's baseline level of health isn't robust, I am stunned that he got Covid while my father, who is a walking medical journal with about 80 billion diseases AND works at a grocery store, still doesn't have it. I really thought my dad would have Covid by summertime. But as far as we know, he's still fine (or at the very least, aymptomatic), and Trump is not. Blows my tiny little mind.

(I'm not really being nice to Trump, here; I'm just shit-talking my dad.)

Yeah, I saw elsewhere that he has a fever and cough, and he is the POTUS, so they're going to take every measure here.

Roomba failed for me. Apparently every room in my house is too small, and the door sills are all too high. It would just clean a teeny portion of open floor, and then give up. Also, and perhaps more importantly, the cats HATED it. After months of acclimation they wouldn't go near the thing.

I reverted to swifter and dirtdevil. Then upgraded to a Dyson stick which was the greatest gift ever. A gift that truly sucks, in a very good way. And makes me think of wonderful friends every time I use it. Also a very middle aged, middle class love.

He's getting one of the experimental treatments, so I'm guessing that's why. I hope he's miserable.

I firmly hold that those who deny covid and refuse to wear masks shouldn't be getting any medical Treatment. Misuse of resources. ETA: unless that medical treatment is one comprised solely of batshit "therapies" he's touted publicly. All the hydroxychloroqine, UV radiation, and injectable Bleach anyone ask for.

Interesting. I would think a sitting POTUS wouldn't be able to undergo experimental treatments (unless his life was imminently in danger), just because they aren't proven.
