Laura, I wish there were more Lauras in the world to calm people down and put some sense into them. I'm glad DH is getting some sleep.
Speaking of sense, as I'm about an hour behind on today's schedule as is, I decided not to mop the floors and vacuum the carpets today (usual Friday cleanings). I spent about three hours in the kitchen for challah and for cake and muffins and washing dishes twice already, so no. At least half of the cake and muffins will go into the freezer in case of quarantine: my roommate and I discussed what to do for the next (inevitable) time one of us will go into quarantine, and my hot take was to freeze ahead food because food prep for another person takes so more much time and effort. I plan to bake and cook extra something every weekend, until the freezer is full (next week: soup). It'll be also good for when school starts again, in 16 days.
Having a freezer full of readily available food is very helpful. Also, nothing quite like the aroma of baked goods.
I feel like if it were just a stunt, it would just be Melania. Or it would have been the Pences, or something. I can't believe he would say he has it, even if just to say "see, it's no big deal," if he didn't.
I hope that they didn't expose Joe Biden and his team on Tuesday night, and I hope our country will be okay.
That.

Twitter says that if he's canceling his rallies, it's genuine. Which I think is a good point.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if some brave doctor or nurse took away his phone "to disinfect it" and then quietly smashed it with a hammer.
I just hope he has to go on a ventilator. He won't be able to talk.
Just heard that a coworker who was laid off last year died this week. Pancreatic cancer. Younger than me and a good guy. Sad now.
Oh, that is sad. I'm sorry.
