Also, working and could not help but think as I dragged myself to the living room "Again? I worked yesterday..."
I have in fact said "Gaaaaaaah, my work is requiring me to work!"
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I always liked Matt Groening's pre-Simpsons greeting card on the subject: "They made me do things I didn't particularly want to do!"
Theodosia, I used to sprain my ankles all the time. Ouch! It can really hurt. When you can, remembering RICE: rest, ice, compression, elevation. Regarding elevation, when you can, have your foot higher than your heart.
Here's a good video on how to do a figure-8 wrap with an ACE bandage. It's pretty straight-forward.
Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon.
I've been coming in to the office all along ... there have been any number of days I would have preferred to stay home, but I do serve a purpose here and it does give my days structure. And, all along, I've been handling the mail, getting checks and invoices processed ... and we had a BAD leak which I reported right away and it was fixed quickly, so it's a good thing. Commuting has been fairly easy, since there are still so few people riding.
I went up to visit mom. We had lunch outside on a picnic table - on opposite ends.
And we didn't hug but we got a little too close but we both used hand sanitizer and had on masks. Mom's cat really needed his claws trimmed and we ran by her house for a minute and she joked about bringing him out to the car and I was like "I'll try it!"
So she got him in the cat carrier, we did an exchange, and I sat in the front seat of the car and trimmed his claws. He did ok for the most part. Then we did another exchange.
We went up to her storage unit and got some of my stuff out of it to bring down here although only so much fit in my car.
Glad you got to see her and accomplish some stuff, askye! It sounds like you mitigated the risk pretty well.
I got a new blood donor card in the mail and was able to reset my password under my number rather than my email address and that worked MUCH better. And already got my antibody test results, apparently? Negative, which is actually disappointing.
They haven't wanted my blood for a while ... I take too many medications. I'm still listed as an organ donor, if anything's usable. When my father died, about all they wanted were his corneas and maybe kidneys - he'd had a series of minor strokes, was a life-long smoker ... even his skin had had too much sun exposure.
The ankle is doing quite well, just the slightest bit twingey if I forget and come down hard on it, or go one-foot-per-tread on the stairs. It is swollen and looking bruisey, so I know I wasn't exaggerating that I hurt it. I walked on it all day without pain, so I know I'm getting off lightly.
If you can, keep elevating it when you're at rest, Theo.

Same for me, with the addition of my getting tattoos regularly.
Has anyone heard from Gud?
