Let me guess. We're in a hurry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I filled out a time sheet today! For only one of my crew (instead of 5 +overhire) but still... first time since June. We have a show up and running!

Oh yay!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Show up and running! Congratulations!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Sophia and smonster!

Our new dishwasher has finally arrived at the store. Delivery and instillation here is scheduled for tomorrow.

What is even happening?

Happy birthday to Sophia and smonster!

Also, why and I watching news? A much better plan would be to avoid all media for a couple months.

I re-watched Hamilton on Saturday, in an attempt to do just that, Laura. I ended up crying through much of it. I can either be sad or angry, it seems. Both are exhausting. Neither are good for me physically or mentally.

I fell skating outdoors yesterday and hit the pavement pretty hard. I feel like I've been hit by a bus. ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET! Mine saved my nut, which double bounced.

Oh, Cashmere! I hope you feel better soon. I'm glad you were wearing a helmet to protect those spicy brains.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, Cashmere! I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks. I'm just sore. Which is embarrassing because I took much harder hits and falls during derby. But that's going on five years now and I am so much older and less fit. It would have been cooler if some amazing woman knocked me down.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That seems to be the way a lot of politicians handle it - I've heard multiple stories from people who write a disfavorable letter to the Senator/Congressman and get a response saying "thank you for your support".

Wow no posts from 2PM to 8PM Pacific? Where is everyone?

I went over to a friend's nearby and she met the puppy for the first time, and we got tacos. Puppy had a long walk, meeting my friend, sniffing around. We got home and he went potty. And now....he's acting crazy. I'm like "what do you want? You have food, water, you don't need to go out...why are you not tired OMG?!" Maybe he's overtired and will zonk out tonight. Maybe.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been grading exams all day, and still have a ton more to grade. Ugh.

Also, I've been stressing about how to get the side mirror on my car replaced in a Covid-safe way, but now I just looked up some videos about how to replace it, and it looks like something that I can do myself, so I'm going to try doing that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Where is everyone?

Oh you know, occupying the same 600 square feet I've been in for the last six months.

Woohoo! 11,940 steps/5.1 miles!

Thrive to spite them

After we got back from Costco and got everything divided and put away (I really want a vacuum seal thing , that would make life a bit easier). I ended up watching Shakespeare & Hathaway on tv and crocheting some. On the family Zoom y yesterday I got asked if I was crocheting or knitting and I do miss it so I pulled out some yarn I bought on a whim and found a pattern.

I'm not especially thrilled with what I'm crocheting but it's simple enough I should be able to finish it and not make any major mistakes and get me in the groove again.

I found Leverage on Plutotv - a free streaming site/app. although it's ad based so every commercial break is pretty much the same ad for ATT, T Mobile, Trulicty and I've blocked out the other. I think there were 2 T Mobile ads.

oh! They have the Carol Burnett Show! The original one that's never been on DVDS and full seasons of it. I didn't watch any but I may tomorrow while I am crocheting.
