Well done, msbelle.
I had tech for a show yesterday! It's been a while since I've done outdoor theatre or had the entire lighting rig for a show in my car. We're performing in 9 city parks but our two days of tech/dress are in the back lot of the scene shop. When we did a full run in the evening folks from the factory next door were watching from their loading door and a Metra train went by reeealy slowly because the driver was listening.
Wearing a mask and a cap all day left me with the strangest little spots of sunburn on my cheekbones right next to my hairline. Oops. Gotta remember the sunscreen today.
Toddson - I'm actually not aggravated at the moment - I am sitting on my seat of superiority.
well, I guess the booze is superfluous ... but you still get the gold star ... maybe a second for not resorting to swearing or violence
Wheeee! My office is having a virtual happy hour after work, and Big Boss sent everyone gift visas for food & wine so it's more a virtual dinner with drinks after!
I wasn't consciously avoiding eating beef this past weekend to save up my red meat allotment for a steak from a swanky restaurant, but it worked out that way nonetheless.
The sky is blue today! I'm so happy to see something that's not yellow or gray!
Yay for Kay-Bee's sky! We're sunny here in Texas, and frankly we could use more rain than a shower that just ups the humidity.
I think I mentioned on Fbook that Greater Somerville is getting orangey sun and gray sky. The smoke is actually 5 miles up, so the AQI is OK, but it still impresses that there's so much of it that the other side of the damn continent is getting affected.
Yes, some of the smoke is floating over the Other Washington ... AQI is OK. We are, however, expected to get rain starting tomorrow night as Sally ambles up the east coast. Wish we could send some westward.
Timelies all!
Tired and cranky today....so what else is new.
