It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, that sure sounds fun, Epic.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Congrats, Gud!

Woo hoo, Shir!

Side-job~ma, Vortex.

My company opted out as well. Their words: "accounting nightmare."

I have to design an RFP this week and I don't wanna.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm not sure if RFPs or the actual proposal is the worst; they're both awful.

I am not much for campaign merchandise, but I do kinda like this t-shirt: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

I saw a sign yesterday that said 'Share Facts Not Germs', which I thought was nifty. There are a number of Believe Science signs around.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just had a call where we discussed the best way to ensure everyone in the department could take time off to vote, and I realized I should probably take the day AFTER election day off too, just in case. I didn't in 2016, and it was one of the worst days in the office I've ever had.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Politics in Maine must be wackadoo, just thinking about their former governor Paul LePage.

Oh dear, Epic, that does not sound good. And after wooden sticks for lunch! (I did actually google Pick Up Stix, so I know what it actually is, but my first thought was the game...)

I was just thinking that, too!

Our wings are not tired.

Since the election may well not be decided on Election Day the next day will be that much worse. I get needing mail in voting, but the idea of having to wait days before states call it is going to be more than nerve wracking.

You're right. I'd better take all of November off just to be sure.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary at my no-longer-new job. I got a really nice review from my boss, who reassured me that she gets plenty of great feedback from residents and staff. It's been in many ways a very good year, except financially. I'm getting a $0.51 raise, which doesn't help all that much.

Now if I could just have a side hustle again -- well that's not happening too soon. Because too much virus danger both for me -- which I could maybe accept -- but for all the vulnerable people that I could give it to.
