That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Herding cats for fun

Today went like an episode of Hoarders. My sister did everything in her power to interfere with the haul Junk Out of The Yard project requested by Park Management. She was adamant that her second car not be moved out of the way. (We couldn't understand why). I have keys so I drove it across the lane, which the workers appreciated. Then she sat on the steps in her nightgown and bald chemo head ordering the guys to take this, that and the other thing back into the yard, look for her garden tools and bicycle parts. She screamed THAT STAYS! at Sue for saying a particular piece of rubble could go on the truck. I told her not to talk to Sue like that. Then she yelled at me about how I wouldn't even change my own sister's sheets. She hung around trying to keep her stuff but she got tired, started crying and told the guys to take it all and went back to bed. They were super nice and put in extra effort to pack the truck very full to avoid a second trip. So that part was not so bad.

It cost Sue $740.00. My sister still has a rented storage unit, a two story garden shed, the master bedroom, the biggest room, the living room, the kitchen and her vehicles crammed full of stuff. You'd think that would be enough to make her happy, but no. She has to hate me because she's too dependent on her roommate to really get her grudge on at home.

I am very tired of bullshit, drama and yelling, and DH is tired of hearing about it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Exactly like an episode of Hoarders, Katerina -- hugs. Made worse, I'm sure, by the actual physical sickness and mental distress of chemo/cancer, so she's going to fall back on her flawed defense mechanisms, i.e. blaming you for all this, somehow. Captain Logic is not steering the tugboat...

Thrive to spite them

I'm sorry you are dealing with that on top of everything else in 2020 .

A friend of mom's has covid. Her friend P has a bunch of respiratory problems and has said if she got covid she assumed she woul die. So she's been careful and got her will and all of that in place . But she visited her daughter in law , who works at a day care center and who was unknowingly sick with covid at the time.

The good news to this is P seems to have a very very mild case with real breathing issues or fever. I'm grateful she's doing well for her sake but also so mom doesn't have to worry about losing another friend (her best friend of nearly 40 years died last year).

It also reinforced that I've been doing the right thing keeping distance from mom even though it's hard when I see so many people who are just acting line things are fine but also don't seem to be getting sick.

And in other medical news M has been dealing with the VA more for health care. They switched the anti depressant he was on and the new one made him sick so they are changing again....not sure to what. But they are also setting up weekly telehealth appointments for some kind of pain management monitoring or help. I'm vauge because he didn't seem to be exactly sure. He doesn't seem happy about more interactions with doctors but is going to do this. And whoever he talked to at the VA encouraged him to reapply for Social security disability. He did prev and was denied and didn't re apply. So he is thinking about that.

I think his brother and SIL have been encouraging him to go to the VA and see if they can re evaluate his disability rating with them...I don't know what that entails or if he will do it but I'm glad they are encouraging him.

Coding and Sleeping

Sorry Katerina, good luck.

I hope things work out well for P and M, askye.

I heard from technical screen guy last night and they want to do the full 2 hour interview tomorrow morning. It's over Zoom and I was told to have a development environment ready so it looks like it will involve doing some coding.
