Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, that's all very promising to hear about your father and brother, Steph. Fingers still crossed.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Not sure what the right thread is for this. But if anyone is sad about missing Dragoncon over Labor Day, they have a channel on a Roku where they're streaming stuff.

Negative! Negative!

One person tested positive the day I was helping with tests on campus, but I don't know if it was even when I was there and I do know it was a grad student, and the only people I got close to were staff. And everyone was masked, of course.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Unfortunately GoodRx didn't lower the price for me at all. Their price was actually more expensive than what the manufacturer's coupon got me. I'm about to be out of this medication, and I'm a little scared of what will happen when I stop taking it. If I have to pay $200 a month I will, but I'm praying there's a viable alternative.

as it turns out, the doctor absolutely had NOT ruled that out as a cause, and Dad misunderstood her

That's good news. Fingers crossed it's just a side effect of Zoloft or something else easy to fix.

More good news, sj, glad ltc's test was negative.

Work is stressful, but not nearly as stressful as my last job, so I should count my blessings. I feel so fragile, I don't like it.
