I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ltc is fine, but she wouldn't stop crying and complaining about a stomach ache for a second day in a row yesterday. She was hysterical, and we couldn't calm her down, which is very unusual for our little girl to complain about anything. Her grandparents came by to drop off a gift for her, and she refused to go outside and see then, and She kept running to the bathroom every 5 minutes and nothing would happen. So, we took her to urgent care. It turns out she was just very constipated and gassy. They would only let one parent in the building with her, and while we were in there the car died. So, after finally seeing the doctor, getting an X-Ray to make sure it was nothing, we had to wait outside under and overhang in a huge storm for AAA to come and put in a new battery, which took about an hour. On the way home I couldn't get takeout from the first restaurant we tried because their electricity was out and the pharmacy was closed, presumably for the same reason. So, off to a second restaurant and a second pharmacy. We finally got Chinese take-out and ltc's medication. We decided it was eat in front of the TV night because by then we were all stressed and cranky, but the wifi was out. Muppet Show DVDs came to the rescue, and we ate our Chinese food and gave ltc her medication. It was quite a day!

She's still miserable today, but she has had some relief. We're going to have a very lazy day today.

I am trying to be loving momma, while being freaked out for having to spend so much time in a medical facility and all the idiots who don't know how to wear a mask properly.

The treehouse is pretty sweet. I am wondering if the cattle come with the castle and remembering that one Downton Abbey scene with the pigs...

Coding and Sleeping

I watched the DNC roll call this weekend and I marvel that they made the roll call something I actually wanted to watch.
