Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Thrive to spite them

Well M's mom is back home so we are back to tvs constantly going and phone calls on speaker phone.

I didn't realize how much more relaxed I am around with it quiet until it's gone.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, askye. Do you have noise canceling headphones or something? Quiet is something to be valued for sure.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My dad had a bear encounter when he was a kid. There were wild blueberries near the farm, and Dad went out to pick some. He saw a black bear eating them and decided the bear wanted them more than he did.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Haven't encountered any bears here, just deer and the occasional coyote.

Also, new baby giant panda at the Zoo here!

I saw the baby panda! My sister called it a late in life surprise baby panda.

That whole panda baby thing is a trip!

I'm annoyed that I forgot Everything Bagel topping the last time I went to Trader Joe's, but it's probably not worth the 2 mile walk just for that. Or I suppose I could just buy the ingredients next time I go to the regular supermarket. I'm going to make this tart, and it's going to use up what I have, I'm afraid. [link]

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just suggested to an incoming college freshman that if they can just refrain from all jamming into one room to lick each other for a week, things will probably be OK.

Toddlers and college students, the two populations most likely to have their tongues in places they probably should not.

May I use these quotes elsewhere? There's a new crop of college students living across the street from me.

my liberal cousins in Fayetteville!

I have a cousins in Fayetteville. I'm pretty sure they are not liberal.

On second thought, mine might be in Rogers?

And by all means!

Kinda! Except less heartwarming and more send Granddad out with the rifle (fruitlessly [sorry]).

I mean, that makes more sense, honestly.

And the internet tells me that Target also has everything bagel blend for sale and even the supermarket might (I refuse to register with them so can't actually see what's on the shelves).
